Volunteering is necessary for the functioning of our club, but it is also a good way to become part of the MSC family by meeting other members creating friendships while learning new skills and encouraging the development of our young skiers. As the club grows, roles and responsibilities will be created as necessary for the progress of the ski club.  Many hands make light work!

Each family registration requires a volunteer deposit of $150 that will be returned at the end of the season to parents/guardians who meet the minimum volunteer commitment of 3 full days. Signup sheets will be posted on the first day for you to add your name to wherever and whenever you are available to help. 

Each day requires an AM and PM shift for: 

1. Setup and takedown of equipment - Training will be provided by the Head Coach. (Skiing required)
2. Tail Gunner – Tail gunners typically ski at the rear of the group and may be asked to help with demonstrations, ride the chair lift with younger athletes, assist children that may need a little extra help, and be a support for the coach. A minimum of one tail gunner is required per group. 
3. Cabin Supervisor - a minimum of one person is required to stay back at the cabin to keep it secure and be available in the case of emergency or if a skier requires a break. 

Other opportunities arise throughout the season from maintenance of the ski club, to brushing of the race course run, and to other tasks as assigned.

The board of executive members appreciates the parental support and members to come forward to be the lead for the following:

2. Year end BBQ planning
3. Fundraising & Sponsorship program
4. Website Manager
